Reclamation & Reforestation

DWB provides a qualified and skilled team of professionals experienced in reclamation and restoration planning and implementation. We have Professional Agrologists, Biologists and Engineers with the knowledge to assist clients in successfully reclaiming disturbed lands to previous capabilities or restoring to pre-disturbance ecosystems. Using innovative and field-tested approaches, DWB works to identify successful, cost-effective and site appropriate short and longer term measures for preparing disturbed soils and waterways and returning vegetation cover. Our team also ensures all plans meet permitting requirements. In Northern B.C, factors such as short growing seasons and shallow soils can pose significant limitations to restoring vegetation cover and in some cases, native plants, which are adapted to these harsh conditions, provide the best solution. Wherever possible, DWB works to develop and implement research programs using native plant species in order to continuously provide our clients with the novel and up-to-date revegetation practices.

GPR is a safe and effective non-destructive geophysical technology that can obtain subsurface images in real time after the data collection is finished, the data is transferred to a computer to be analyzed using EKKO Project™ GPR Software to visualize and report the results back to the client.

Type of uses for GPR:
